How a wig is maintained

Detangle
Before washing the wig, carefully detangle the hair using a comb or a brush. Start from the ends with top-to-bottom movements and move up towards the root.
Rinse
Use lukewarm water and rinse from the root to the ends to dampen the hair.
Shampoo
Use a moderate amount of shampoo uniformly throughout the hair. Tip: DO NOT use circular motions because the wig hair can get tangled. Use vertical movements, from top to bottom, as if you were combing the wig using your fingers.
Conditioner
Use a moderate amount of conditioner, distributing it with your hands uniformly throughout the hair with vertical movements from top to bottom from the root to the ends. Let the conditioner sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Use a nourishing conditioner to make the hair as silky as possible.
Rinse

Let the lukewarm water flow in the same direction as the hair to avoid tangling. Squeeze and press the hair through a semi-closed palm under the water stream, from the root to the ends;
Place the wig in a towel, wrap and squeeze to remove excess water.

Dry
Dry approximately 80% and then brush with a brush until the hair is smooth.
Also, the wig can be left near a heat source to dry naturally. The wig can be styled with a hairdryer, flat iron, curling iron, rollers etc., just like natural hair. Avoid using very high temperatures with the flat iron/hairdryer to not degrade the hair strand.
